Summer is formally here and I'm anticipating the majority of the up and coming potlucks! For the most part I'm longing for all the side dishes. I adore a decent side dish in excess of a primary more often than not.

My cucumber serving of mixed greens is the thing that I consider to be a stage up from the average cucumbers absorbed vinegar with white onion. Truly, less my thing. I made this formula around the dressing altogether, it's everything dependent on smooth Italian dressing that I adore from our neighborhood pizza spot and needed to reproduce at home!

This plate of mixed greens tastes best when the dressing is made ahead and chilled for at any rate one hour and as long as 24 hours before serving. When the plate of mixed greens is collected, it very well may be chilled for another 1-2 days before serving whenever wanted.

Creamy Italian Cucumber Salad is the best and made easy with thinly sliced cucumbers and red onions! You'll love the tangy, creamy dressing!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Red or White Wine Vinegar
  • 2 Teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Granulated Sugar, About 1/8 teaspoon
  • 3 Large Cucumbers
  • 1 Medium Red Onion


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, red or white wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and sugar.
  2. For best results, cover and chill the dressing for at least one hour, and up to a full day before making the salad.
  3. Thinly slice the cucumbers and red onions about 1/8-1/4 inch thick.
  4. Mix the dressing together with the onion and cucumber. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.
